Anderson Cooper hang your head in shame!!!

Anderson Cooper should be ashamed, just ashamed. As much as Anderson Cooper seems to desire total cred as a serious journalist, and will take over the 8 p.m. slot on CNN in a matter of days, I returned from a CBS party tonight (Sarah Michelle Geller! Johnny Galecki! Mario Lopez!) and thought, oh, I should check in on the news of the day.

So I clicked on CNN and found,I can't believe I'm saying this, that Anderson Cooper was exploring the issue of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt. To wit, Heidi regrets some of her plastic surgery.

OMG, are you serious? For one thing, who the F-- cares. For another, just as a point of order, the footage of Spencer making ape noises was broadcast a year ago on Joel McHale's "The Soup," among other outlets.

Andy, dude, you should be ashamed. And so should CNN. You're about to get the sweet spot in the CNN schedule and if the best you can do is been there, done that footage of grade Z celebrity wannabe's, I, for one, am about to check out. Can you really call yourself a news man?

For shame!!
