Loughner's shooting started the discussion, but the discussion is long overdue. When Byron Williams shot two police officers, he said it was Glenn Beck who showed him the light. He was on his way to commit a FOX-News-inspired massacre at the ACLU. Richard Poplawski posted one of Beck's paranoid rants, then went out and murdered three police officers. Jim Adkisson, who owned every book by Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity, wanted to "kill liberals," so he walked into Unitarian church musical with a shotgun and began shooting people.

There is NO equivalent violence coming from the left. ZERO. FOX News spends every minute of the day telling inflammatory lies to their audience; even if they're not as unhinged as Williams, Poplawski, and Adkisson, everyone who gets their news from this dangerously irresponsible news source is worse for it.

Whether or not Loughner was another Fox News Terrorist, there is blood on Fox News' hands, and there has been for years, and there will be more. You can stand up and condemn the anti-American violence of one side of the debate, or you can be a liar and claim it's the other side too, or you can be a coward and pretend it isn't happening.

Sarah Palin put up a map with the NAMES of legislators. The map showed RIFLE CROSSHAIRS for the legislators she wanted to eliminate. It EXPLICITLY CALLED UPON Americans to "TAKE A STAND." Many people saw it as an incitement to violence. One of them, Gabrielle Giffords, explicitly called on Palin to remove it, saying it was dangerous provocation. Palin refused.

A local Democratic group put out a fundraising graphic with DARTBOARD images on it, and the names of DISTRICTS, not people.

Dartboards are not the same as rifle crosshairs, and it's dishonest to imply they are.

Posting the names of districts you want to flip is not the same as posting the names of legislators you want to eliminate.

No one saw any violent imagery in the Democratic graphic until some lying, right-wing scumbags set out to create a false equivalency. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say they fooled you.
