Take Bush/Cheney for instance. I never saw any poster here calling for an assassination. To a person, we most called for them to arrested and stand trrial for their war crimes...but that's a whole lot different than making up lies about Obama and calling for violent overthrow of the government because Democrats are in charge.

A bunch of mostly-anonymous people on an Internet message board? As opposed to the Republican Vice-Presidential candiate? Republican senatorial and congressional candiates? Republican media figures who have regularly excoriate any Republican who dares cross them (and none do so for more than a day without backpedalling)?
