7000 immigrant deportation cases in Georgia reviewed for dismissal
http://www.ajc.com/news/georgia-politics-elections/nearly-7-000-deportation-1145575.html

"On Tuesday, Pedro Morales, 19, of Dalton and Luis "Ricky" Hernandez, 18, of Calhoun were freed from the Stewart Detention Center in Lumpkin after their attorney cited the ICE guidelines and Napolitano’s letter in court. Both were illegally brought here from Mexico as young children. And both have attended public high schools in North Georgia."

1. Now that they've rec'd their high school education, they can return to their
home of record, pursue a higher degree, and apply for a student or work visa, and perhaps citizenship if they so desire.

2. Many of those kids have never even been to their country of record...
Some don't even have family there and may not even speak the language. You echo a viewpoint shared by many, but it does seem cruel to punish these kids who are merely the product of an illegal act, yet not guilty of any themselves.

3. These boys were on our local Atlanta news station.
They said they do not want to be sent to their countries of birth because they have nothing or no one to go back to.
