Using the anti Semitic phrase and making the focus of her address all about her is stepping into the Phelps realm.

She's reached a new plateau of offensive behavior.

1. I'm sure she planned the timing

So that she is in the news playing the victim before the President makes his comments tonight. Cheap Trick.

She just makes me ill so I couldn't watch it. I'll wait to hear what our President has to say about this tonight. And I will have my grandchildren by my side watching too so that they can see how our country actually comes together in times of tragedy under the leadership of a balanced and caring POTUS.

My grandchildren are 10 and 6. And if I had the opportunity to take them to meet a congressman or congresswoman whom they admired, I would have taken them. This could easily have happened to any one of us or our family members.

The hate has got to stop, it is tearing us down as a country. And I just don't hear the democrats throwing the hate around like I do from the GOP. They scream the loudest, so they are easiest to hear. And words have consequences.

This will be a sad, teachable moment in my home tonight.

We don't know each other but I'll be thinking of you this evening with your grandchildren. It's so good that they have you to guide them through this. Kids sense troubles but they don't always know how to sort it out and give them reassurance.

I'm doing my damnest to get them raised as good liberal democrats :). And its not easy because the other half of their families (the father's and their families) are raging CCR's (Christian Conservative Republicans) talk racist hate & lies every other custody weekend.

sigh. Luckily, I have very intelligent, thoughtful grandchildren and they know that "Mimi" will tell them the truth and back it up with facts. As for the kids other families - they are very leary of even trying to "go there" with me. I don't play when it comes to filling my grandchildren's heads with bullshit. I have a bumpersticker on my front door that says "Turn Fox Off - Bad for America" which they are met with when they come to pick up the kids.
