The "death panel" part was referring to the Health Care Reform bill. The Republicans and the teabaggers claimed it would include death panels to decide who would live and who would die. Palin's Death Panels.

I've been present at many so called "death panels" in my life. What goes on is that Hospice is mentioned as an ALTERNATIVE method to aggressive treatment. There is choice involved here, and the Righties (especially Sarah Palin) are flat out lying.

For my mother, the Death Panels were performed by a doctor, a nurse, the clergy and a social worker. The patient (or the patient's representative - which has been me numerous times) - has the opportunity to ask questions, and the doctor most often will recommend alternative services if one doesn't want to "kill" the patient by withholding antibiotics and IV fluids, etc.

By participating in these death panels with my aged mother, I have been given out patient support in my home, of visiting nurses, physical therapists, nurses aides and occupational therapists. These people have been instrumental in aiding my mother to wellness, and I'm thankful for the visits that were recommened by the so-called Death Panels.

The so called Death Panels, which Sarah speaks about, have been going on for YEARS, and it's not new. All a patient has to do is say, no, I don't want to go into hospice and I want to aggressively fight the illness. That's it, it's done.

People have been grossly misinformed by the right wing (especially Palin's) rhetoric. Not one bit of it is true. No one is going to pull the plug on Grandma, unless you want them to, Palin.

Here's my idea of the day.

Remember Sunday Sarah said she is afraid for her life because an east coast kid had wanted to get Maw Grizzly's approval of the rifle he bought? He is still on the east coast under a restraining order but her life is in danger from a gun loving fan.
Her aide today is reporting up ticks in death threats on her.
Remember when Sarah reported an announced high school gang rape of Willow, that the Palins never reported to the cops and that never actually happened?

Remember when Sarah said that the author McGinnis was spying on her and peering in Piper's window and invading their privacy? None of which actually happened?

Sarah, with the Blood Libel accusation is sending a code message to her army of flying monkeys that her life is in danger, with the understanding that they need to defend her life, presumably with the guns she wants them to be allowed to carry.

Pure and simple.

The victims of the blood libel generally were killed, often by a variety of horrible means.
Sarah has told the armed and angry inmates of her asylum that her life is in danger, that the media and the left have called down a blood libel on her.

The more I think about it. Even Sarah cannot possibly be foolish enough to do what she did yesterday without a reason. She issued an inflammatory rant guaranteed to get slammed by just about every political ideological group. She chose to be inflammatory rather than compassionate deliberately and calculatedly.

She was deliberately throwing chum to her sharks.

She claims she is the target of a Blood Libel, on a day when the rest of the country is mourning, knowing the press and the bloggers will go nuts and rain insults and bad press on her, confirming in the minds of her army of the insane that she is indeed in danger.

Couple that with the publication of Beck's statement that if she were assassinated the republic would be destroyed.

I'd look for some more shootings in the near future.
