CNN, October 22, 2010:
(CNN) – Former Florida Republican Governor, Jeb Bush said Friday he isn't running for president, but would support Sarah Palin if she were to run.
In an interview with CNN Chief National Correspondent John King Friday, Bush - whose brother and father are former presidents - said he'd support former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin if she were the Republican presidential nominee in 2012.
"You betcha," Bush said in an interview set to air on CNN's John King, USA at 7 p.m. ET Friday.
And what kind of Republican does he think would make a good 2012 candidate?
"Big and bold and aspirational that has a positive agenda that will compare, I think favorably to that of the president," Bush said. "We can't just be against the president's proposals, we have to offer up compelling alternatives."

As Chris Matthews presciently stated on
Hardball last night, 'Sarah Palin's name has now been
erased from the run for the presidency'. This was before her shameful rhetoric today in her efforts to paint herself as the victim, while in Arizona, multiple people were massacred and a US Representative to Congress is clinging to life with a bullet wound in her head.
With today's turn of events, Jeb's got a real problem. Queen Sarah's potential candidacy wasn't supposed to flame out this quickly. Her "run" for the presidency should have lasted until much further along in the timeline, giving people a longer period of time to see this potential disaster unfold in technicolor, then thoroughly repudiate her. At that point, with the severely weakened hand then held by the GOP, the party would call on its dark star who is pacing in the wings, to come and save the party.
Voilà!And here is Jeb's intractable problem. He is another Bush. And it's entirely *too soon* for people to be subjected to
the idea of this big-footed,
acid-tongued, MyWayOrTheHighway wrecking ball commanding from the White House, when the memories of the mass destruction inflicted both here and abroad by this one family have

Oh, but
he wants it. He
wants it badly. He's already installed his pet Marco Rubio into the Senate, just to lay low
until the time is right to serve under Jeb.
And he's got Rick Scott at the controls in Florida. Now, Jeb
doesn't care much for Scott, but he'll bide his time and let Scott push
Jeb's *educational agenda* and
strip all regulations from land developers and environmental protections as the people kick and scream.
And now, he even has to whitewash his enthusiastic, stated support just 3 months ago for Sarah Palin's candidacy for presidency. He certainly wanted her to screech and whip up hatred for a bit longer into 2012, take the heat and finally be shunted aside, and Jeb could finally grasp that
Sword of Chang for himself.
Damn, that woman just fired off a rocket launcher at Jeb's grandly micromanaged plans.
