1. I recently flew over Greenland coming home from Iceland...

And I was horrified to see so many bits of glaciers, floating uselessly in the ocean.

It's happening.

And it's horrifying.

3. The way it happens is that we have 2.7 degrees of warming in the poles now.

The melt water collects in violent waterfall affairs within the glacier called "moulins".



The water goes down to the base of the glacier and lubricates it to speed up sliding towards the sea.

Fox will tell you the effect is "1 degree". No, it is 1.35 degrees and double that at the poles where our ice is supposed to be frozen.
