The Tea Party Express rolled into the Quad-Cities on Thursday, preaching a small government message and urging ralliers to defeat President Barack Obama next year.
Unlike a stop earlier this week in Des Moines, the bus tour didn’t draw any Republican presidential candidates. But a slate of local GOP candidates, as well as Sharron Angle, the tea party candidate who lost to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in a hotly contested race in Nevada last year, turned out.
