5. Armageddon has been postponed indefinitely...
Sarah Palin, who jumped the shark years ago, may well be sent to that final political graveyard--that of obscurity, soon.

7. We adopted a 7 mo lab mix pup from our local animal shelter...
and she is doing great! She had been there for 2 months, I think because of her eyes. She has one brown eye and one 1/2 brown 1/2 blue and when we 1st saw her we thought she might be blind (she is not...it's called the merle gene and we think she has some border collie). She is getting on greatly with her 9 yo canine sister, who is dominant and usually doesn't care for other dogs. She is enjoying exploring her big back yard and has met a fellow pup, a 9 mo old Rott who she adores playing with at our local dog park. :)

22. Nah. I know these headaches. Once the cluster is over, I'm OK for
two or three years. Smog has nothing to do with it. The headaches are triggered in the brain, not the lungs. Oxygen just fools the brain into thinking it should contract those blood vessels. Very simple. Very annoying. I've gotten them every couple of years since 1991. They last three or four months, then disappear.

24. Sorry I didn't make my post clear. My suggestion didn't have anything
to do with your headaches. I'm very happy for you that they've packed up and gone away!
