They (Republicans) hate your guts. This is all about the fact that Republican will do and say anything to see you are not reelected. The problem is not Congress both parties it is the damned Republicans who live in our midst. There will not be a post partisan world. Get over it, develop some passion

1. For what purpose?
He should just demand a lot of things that Congress is never going to pass? How many jobs will that create?

The electorate choose laissez-faire in 2010. Live with it.

9. So why aren't we campaigning against the Republicans?
And the tea party? We need to reverse that, not enable even more of it.

15. You would think there would be more screaming against
repubs. Instead, much more fun to screech on a message board about the President.

To be fair, I'm sure some of the screeching is coming from plants. And, Obama does need to step it up.

21. So who keeps talking about bipartisanship?
You know, enabling the Republicans?

12. My point exactly " never going to pass".
Whatever passes seems to favor Republicans even when they deny it. I would be satisfied if Obama would let us know he is a Democrat. That is unlikely to happen.

Problems are merely opportunities in work clothes. We must rise to the occasion and move further to the right to accommodate the Republican patriots.

6. He's the President - not a talk show host or some hot-head on a political message board.
If you can't expect an inclusive reference or two by now, I wouldn't even turn it on if I were you - you're setting yourself up for disappointment.

7. He has now until the election to get my vote back. My only hope is
he will come to his senses and see these free trade deals are killing the middle class. But right now I only see a DINO and no hope for the future.

It is not just between you and him.

There is an entire country here.

22. Who else's vote is it?
Does "one man one vote" mean something other than what the words plainly state?

8. Might as well not even watch. Not sure I will.
Thing is I might be able to live with reasonable bipartisanship. But every time he uses that word his behavior immediately morphs into total capitulation, without even a fight. x(

17. Whenever I see people raging against bipartisanship...
I always wonder...

What would happen if, by some bizarre chance, a Republican president attempted to govern using bipartisanship...

Would we appreciate his/her attempt?

Or call him/her a wuss and wish for the good old days when Republican presidents had no problem acting like dictators.

Is bipartisanship ALWAYS bad, no matter which party is doing it? Or is it only bad when Democrats do it?

23. The Tea Party is the Scorpion.
It will behave like a scorpion no matter what. There is no reasoning with it. There can be no bipartisanship without reasoning.

It is what it is.

capitulation to a RW agenda. :patriot:
