college, and, not to be overly critical, but I have been to a number of events where a lot of young people - obviously not all, but a sizeable number - don't really understand what approrpiate responses are in these kinds of situations. Maybe I lacked the same ability to reflect deeply at that age, but some moments demand a level of decorum and respect.
