I'm a political junkie, and I usually stay as up-to-date as is possible with the news. But I've been in summer camp in Oregon with no internet access for a month now (apart from a few days in the middle), and I'm really behind. It's a crappy situation.

Because he moved the date of his speech next week by a day at the request of the Speaker of the House.

Congress took summer vacations irregardless of the terrible shape they say our country is in.

Cantor is holding FEMA funding hostage following Hurricane Irene for even deeper cuts. (but that probably is not news to anyone).
