Omaha Steve is ramping up slowly, but ramping up just the same

Today my treasurer and I opened my political bank account. George is married to a state central committee member. There are a few things to do in the next couple months before really kicking things off.

Marta will be running a low key campaign we hope will raise below $5,000 for the much simpler bookkeeping requirements.

More news as it happens on the DU. Stay tuned.

6. Door to door campaigning is the way to go.
Meet every person in the district, smile, don't give them any controversial political information, and ALWAYS ask for their vote.

7. I need 1,500 votes to win

My opponent had less than 50% of the vote in 2008. I'm working on my written plan to win. Door to door is on the list.

9. Nope

Marta and I moved to a suburb almost 5 years ago. My user-name was so well known, people said I should leave it as is. I'm being generic about our races until we actually file. We don't want to give a heads up to our opponents until we pick the time.
