Microsoft boss drunk in ladies': lewd antics at firm's conference
Tom Harper and Emer Martin
2 Sep 2011

A top Microsoft boss and family man is accused of sexually harassing a female colleague when a staff conference descended into "wild and drunken" debauchery.

Steven Dunn, a finance director who is married with three children, allegedly walked into the ladies' lavatory, later made "sexual advances" to a colleague and then got embroiled in a near-punch-up.

He is now at the centre of an extraordinary High Court battle involving senior executives at one of the world's biggest computer firms. He is accused in legal papers of targeting Emma Cloney, 42, at a wild conference in Atlanta which reportedly degenerated into a "throbbing mass" of drunken punch-ups, sexual liaisons and "outrageous behaviour".

"The alcohol made freely available in unlimited quantities included neat vodka that could be drunk from an ice fountain, and a very strong German liquor called Jägermeister," he said.

Eat your heart out, Linux geeks. The Windows OS might suck, but for a real fun time those Microsoft staff conferences just can't be beat.

13. Except that Steve Jobs would never throw a drunken orgy.
Or if he did it'd consist of him insultingly rebuffing any and all advances by telling every single potential partner that he wouldn't fuck them with a stolen dick, that they should think about plastic surgery and maybe labiaplasty and a boob job, and then going to masturbate in front of a full-length mirror while making them watch and shouting "See? PERFECTION! This is what none of you useless shitheads can offer me!" Because that's just the kind of guy Steve Jobs is. (If you believe the stories, anyway.)

16. Do they know anything about the software industry and partying?
Let's just say we know some stories that would make the above look tame by comparison. One of those events happened two weeks ago.

17. Speaking from experience...
Edited on Sat Sep-03-11 10:32 PM by Xithras
...the most uptight office geeks I know tend to be the wildest partiers once you put some booze in them. People who live and work in repressed environments tend to overdo it and let lose whenever the rare chance arises. A lot of it has to do with the fact that these generally aren't the people who were boozing it up and partying in college, so they tend to have a weaker grasp of the notion that partying has its own set of "social rules".
