Well, I just got tickets to Pres. Obama's speech tomorrow in Detroit

I will be the one in the bright red baseball cap (good luck).



I'm gonna get there good and early so with any luck I will be somewhere near the front but after trying to see him back in '08 I am not that hopeful. Back then I was 4 hours early and still didn't get into Hart Plaza to see him so I just left.


Today I was 3.5 hours early just to get the tickets and I expect to get there an hour before the gates open (4 hours before the speech is scheduled).



Between the parade, jazz fest and the President's speech (with Aretha Franklin entertaining the crowd prior to the speech) this is gonna be one crazy freaking labor day.
