Vadum is not alone:
John Stossel (Fox News): "Let's stop saying everyone should vote."
Rush Limbaugh: "If people cannot even feed and clothe themselves, should they be allowed to vote?"
Judson Phillips (Tea Party Nation): "If you're not a property owner, I'm sorry, but property owners have a little bit more of a vested stake in the community than not property owners do."
Steve Doocy (Fox News): "With 47% of Americans not paying taxes...should those who don't pay be allowed to vote?"

There is a GOP War On Voting currently in progress to roll back voting rights for millions of Americans. It is imperative that we fight back on this. (Shareable InfoGraphic at the link above).

In case you missed it:

"It is profoundly antisocial and un-American to empower the nonproductive segments of the population to destroy the country -- which is precisely why Barack Obama zealously supports registering welfare recipients to vote,"

3. If you don't pay taxes you don't get a vote. LIKE BOA or GE. They can't vote they can just BUY
elections.

5. p.s. vadum is a disgusting piece of shite
'Why are left-wing activist groups so keen on registering the poor to vote?

Because they know the poor can be counted on to vote themselves more benefits by electing redistributionist politicians. Welfare recipients are particularly open to demagoguery and bribery.

Registering them to vote is like handing out burglary tools to criminals. It is profoundly antisocial and un-American to empower the nonproductive segments of the population to destroy the country -- which is precisely why Barack Obama zealously supports registering welfare recipients to vote. '

6. This is how republicans run up their trial balloons. Soon you'll
hear man-on-the-street types agreeing with this bullshit, then it will be spoken out in the open by "serious" candidates, not really because they believe a day will come when only property owners vote, but it will cause a lot of small minded people to resent poor people voting. It's what they do.

7. I've already seen someone using this argument on another message board.
This is obviously a scripted talking point.

They're basically saying "if you lose your job you should lose your vote". Of course they won't say it that way, but that's how we need to characterize it.

Of course the Democrats will never bring up that point.

12. What do these oinkers squeal about human rights?
They obviously believe "some animals are more equal than others."

I imagine they'd say all rights should stem from property ownership or something. :eyes:

And those are some of the most dedicated voters.

Better start spreading the word.

16. Yeah, Mr. Property Owner: Where did you get the money from to buy the property?
I have a feeling your "hard work" probably didn't give you enough to buy the $12 million dollar home outright. Just a clue you evil fucks.

You know, I'm not saying to do it, but these rich people will be lucky to come out of this with their heads on their shoulders the way things are going. The safety net isn't really there for the poor, it's to keep the rich people from being run out of town by a pitchfork and torch armed mob, and these dumb fucks just don't get it.

When you take everything away from people, they have nothing to lose, and they will act in desperate ways, including violence.

It's a story that's been played out time and time in history all over the world.
