Daryn A. Kagan (born January 26, 1963) is creator and host of the award-winning DarynKagan.com, a media company specializing in inspirational and motivational news content. Martha Stewart's Body + Soul magazine calls Kagan the "Good News Guru", and her brand of inspiring news stories and newspaper columns are available across numerous platforms.

From 1994 to 2006, Kagan served as a CNN main anchor and correspondent based in CNN's world headquarters of Atlanta, Georgia. In September 2004, Kagan became romantically involved with radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh, but they broke up in February 2006.

1. It's obvious what's going on here.

She owns a media company and they wrote her Wikipedia entry.

The page has been edited numerous times by KeepingItAccurate. KeepingItAccurate seems to have only edited the Kagan article or mentions of Kagan in other articles.

It's not difficult to conclude that KeepingItAccurate is an employee or employees of Kagan's media company.

I'm not sure what Wikipedia's rules are regarding paid advertising, but if there are rules against it (and it makes sense that there would be), and if this was written by a paid employee of a media company, then it may be in violation.

2. It's clear this was a marketing effort.

But it would seem like Kagan doesn't need the money. I'd imagine OxyRush
pays her a bundle to keep his deep dark secrets out of the public's view.
