Dennis Miller on Fox just now: "Any government that robs Peter to pay Paul..."
"... can always count on the support of Paul."

A little more subtle than saying that registering the poor to vote is un-American and "like handing out burglary tools to criminals."

... but not much.

2. "Any government that robs Peter to pay Paul..."
So I guess Miller is against sending aid to Texas to pay for the fire fighters and the destruction.

8. I think he was always a dick. He went where there's no competition.
"Conservative" comedians mostly work churches.

13. he went Dennis Hopper
When he was on SNL he was great with Al Franken & A Whitney Brown but maybe it was the writers.. he's definitely been on the crazy pills since 9/11. Shame really there's always a shortage of people with conscience and balls.

6. What's most pathetic about Miller is how much he jumped to the reich
I've seen people who switched after 9/11, but they didn't become anti-tax, corporate loving, environment hating shills.
I never liked Miller. This just makes it easier to hate him.

9. Hitchens became a hawk on military matters.
He still maintained his left wing ideas about economics and distaste for religion.

19. Actually, the figure in my profile picture is Juliano Mer-Khamis
Edited on Mon Sep-05-11 08:29 PM by Ken Burch
the founder of the Freedom Theatre, a Palestinian theatre company. Mer-Khamis was half-Israeli Jewish(on his mother's side)and half-Palestinian Arab. A few months ago, he was murdered they still haven't found the killer. Since the man's very existence was threatening to people on both sides of the I/P conflict, there are a lot of possible suspects.

24. Before he said that, he said...

...that Obama was employing the George Bernard Shaw method of government. I share a house with a guy who watches Fox, and sometimes I can hear it in the next room. I don't really mind because it helps me to hopefully write better satire.

22. "Cha-cha" needs to get a clue.
He's actually right but he's confused about the identities of Peter and Paul.

i.e About who's getting robbed and who's getting paid.
