President Clinton had a "war room"...
Edited on Tue Sep-06-11 05:41 PM by kentuck
Perhaps President Obama should consider the idea? I'm not sure he is getting the appropriate advice to fight the Republicans with?

It is obvious that the Repubs have declared war on the Democratic Party and the programs that they support. It's difficult to fight the opposition if you are on the defensive all the time. Sometimes you have to go on the offensive.

President Clinton had two pitbulls, Carville and Begala, running the war room and every lie the Repubs told, they were ready to respond almost immediately. It was necessary. It may be necessary again?

I'm not sure the present advisers to the President are really adept enough to deal with these saboteurs and hostage takers of the GOP?

3. Speaking of the War Room, did you ever see the documentary
of the same name? I wasn't impressed. All Carville and Begala did was cuss, Stephanopoulus shook and whined and Dee Dee Myers was the worst spokesperson ever. Luckily Poppy's team was worse. I literally sat there and said "What a bunch of assholes." I can't figure out who Obama is listening to, or what his stragegy is.
