7. Why would you not want to
Edited on Tue Sep-06-11 07:19 PM by Madam Mossfern
know what the opposition is up to? This is not a time to squeeze your eyes shut in denial. This is a time to hear this first hand rather than through the filter of the media.

10. I read about what they're up to everyday
there's no reason I need to aggravate myself listening to them regurgitate the same old crap they've been saying for weeks/months/years.

3. I'm not sure my stomach is up to it. But I might, just for a bit....
Mostly, I'll depend on the MSM, not good but a bit of a hint about it, and maybe I'll be able to see the REAL debate, unedited....not holding my breath...

6. I will watch as much as I can stomach... I think Bachmann is going to go after Perry
and I think Mitt opened himself up with his jobs plan being released today.

It might actually be fun.

...IMO, one of those two will blow it, Romney will play safe.

15. I agree about Romney
He will sit back and let others go after Perry, unless Perry goes after him, but I kind of doubt it. I think it will be Ron Paul who comes out swinging. He seems to always get the others all worked up, and it's the only way he can bring his numbers up. He has already come out with an add saying that Perry was a "cheerleader" for Al Gore when Perry was a democrat!

Somebody has to get tough or go home with Perry and Romeny up at the top and everyone else way down below.

26. Totally agree with your Ron Paul statement.
IMO, Paul will rub Perry's nose in the Gore issue. I think Michelle will go after Perry -- in particular -- and Perry will totally blew the way he goes after her. Will be totally chauvanistic...which is what he truthfully is!

41. Somebody will go after Romney. He will either need to hit back or look weak

I expect Bachmann to go after Perry since he is stealing her tea party supporters. Perry has already taken a couple shots at Romney so that might continue tonight.

No matter what I expect some lively exchanges tonight. MSNBC should ask some serious questions from them for a change.

Depends on if I get home in time. I am going to the opening of the campaign headquarters for MA Senate candidate Marisa DeFranco. Starts at 6:30. No idea how long it will continue, and it is about 40 minutes from home, sooooo...??? if I will make it in time for much of it.

18. I don't care which of them is sharpest with the same bogus talking points.
What is the "debate" anyway? Who wants to cut the most? Who proposed the lowest tax rate? Who has the most kids? Who has the most gun? Who loves free market Jeebus the most?

The confines of the discussion are very small in an ideologically bankrupt, fascist party.

I'm not sure if it'll be for a drinking game or just to numb the insanity, but either way I definitely don't have enough booze on hand.
