Ugh! This morning I saw a pickup truck with a UAW decal and a "Viva Bush"
bumper sticker on the rear window. Is this person clueless or what?

3. Let me tell you, a lot of those Reagan Democrats are Union Members
I remember back in 1996, campaigning at a Union Hall as I ran for the State Senate, I can't count how many times I heard comment like this, "Baby Killer", "I won't vote for you you're gonna take my guns", ""N***** Lover".....

Because a lot of these guys had been A) screwed over by democrats (NAFTA) and B) were secure in their middle class life style that they didn't have to worry about economic issues so they focused on more social oriented issues, they could care less if I was a supporter of Labor...

Oh the leadership embraced me whole heartedly, but the rank and file...

5. They are a small group within every union that just doesn't get it. Some
guys hates dems for one thing or another and nothing to do with their bread and butter issues. Most of them are closet racists...at least the ones I know.

7. Further
...they complain about their union dues being used in anti tea bagger demonstrations (like in Wisconsin last winter). I don't understand why they belong to begin with, as it is not compulsory where I work. Bush stickers and Reagan drooling galore, and that clown picture of Obama in their work area.

But it's fun to get under their skin, so it's not all bad.
