7. I read this statement earlier from a Prerry spokesperson.
Perry to debate tonight, spokesman says

Gov. Rick Perry, juggling a presidential campaign and a crisis at home, plans to be in Los Angeles tonight for his first debate against his Republican primary opponents, a spokesman said Tuesday.

I guess Perry is so special he gets to hold his own private debate a whole day before everyone else.

If there's one thing we here in Texas know about Perry, it's he's a pro at weaseling out of debates. :D

8. My guess is,
No. I think he'll skip the debate, and use the fires as an excuse. He's not done many debates, and seems to do better without them. I think he'll opt out, and try to play it for a "win". I'm hoping I'm wrong, as I'd like to see him have to debate and be pinned down for some answers. My feeling is that the less you know about Rick Perry, the better you like him. There's supposedly a bumper sticker being generated---Be Afraid....Be Perry Afraid!

Like why the #@%&*& did you gut the firefighting budget by 75% AFTER we experienced the previous bout of massive wildfires? What an ass.
