Ah wellstone called up... if nothing they are predictable

Right-wing media star Tammy Bruce had some of the harshest attacks on the event and the crowd here in Tucson. She likened the event to the 2002 funeral for Sen. Paul Wellstone (D-MN), which conservatives at the time claimed was unfairly turned into a political rally by Wellstone's supporters.

"Massacre Rally Theatre is a complete abomination. Absolutely obscene," Bruce tweeted Wednesday. "Clinton should be happy, no longer will 'Wellstone' be the benchmark."

7. It was not Wellstone's funeral.

His and Sheila's funeral was a private religious service. All the funerals for those killed in the crash were private.

The noise machine got bent out of shape over the public memorial for the public man. They sunk so low over the Wellstone event that one of them claimed the closed captioning on the big screens was actually prompts to the audience about when to applaud or cheer.

No surprise that they would sink to that level today.
