Reps. Joe Walsh, Paul Broun to hold “forums” during Pres. Obama’s jobs speech, Sen. Vitter watching football
Earlier I posted reader Wiccaspirits’ account of her phone call to Rep. Joe Walsh’s office in which she questioned his comments about his not attending President Obama’s Thursday night speech (which is at 7 pm EDT). Here is one excerpt of the office’s response to that call:
Mr. Walsh does NOT represent the nation as a whole in congress, nor does he represent all of his constituents, he only represents the Tea Party, its members and its core principles. Mr. Walsh also does not believe that Obama is working and that he should be rather than talking to congress.
Then this came my way via @IanDavidB who linked me to Democratic Underground:

All – Tomorrow evening, Congressman Joe Walsh will be holding a forum to discuss the challenges facing small business owners. I wanted to make you aware of this event and was hoping you may be able to attend in order to share your first-hand knowledge of these issues. This is a great opportunity for you to speak with Congressman Walsh in this roundtable discussion on jobs, the economy, and President Barack Obama’s jobs speech to a Joint Session of Congress. A flyer is attached and we ask that you RSVP with our office in Fox Lake, IL. Please let me know if you have any questions.
