He'd be a formidable nominee. He ain't stupid and he's doing quite well in this debate.

1. He is - but Perry is confident and is 100x a better speaker than Bushy-Boy |
|
Perry is a nutjob but he is confident and can complete a sentence.
He is a lock.

6. you're not a wingnut! Conservatives love a take-charge confidence man |
|
Rick Perry is what a casting agent in Hollywood would want to play a GOP president.

3. I'm not so sure. Saying that Social Security is a "monstrous lie" |
|
and a Ponzi Scheme endangers his chance of being nominated.

|
He just don't seem to be very bright but that is all it takes to become a corporate puppet...

7. I think Perry's appeal is too narrow. In some regions he will do great, in others he is toast. |
|
Mittens has broader appeal.

8. They All Have Their Tricks... |
|
Mittens is to waffle an answer to the question...then go to one of his guaranteed applause lines. That's what he's scoring with. No matter what you ask him, he'll never reveal any solid conviction or position but he will find a catch phrase about what a failure President Obama is...applause!! Wow, he sure looks good.
I'm amused the most with Ron Paul...as always. He's all over the place and anytime he's asked about a government agency he can cite the year it was formed and then say "what did we do before that".
I sure wish my old debate teacher were around to score this...he'd have a field day. Every one of these posers are coached to the gills...get to the talking point and fast.
