Capitalism necessarily has this happen periodically, and as Marx observed these event occur with shorter and shorter intervals and can only be resolved by the destruction of overcapacity so that new investment can be made. Tough luck for the working class which has to bear the brunt of the pain and the handful of capitalists who end up 'losers' but for the capitalist class in general it's just a bump in the road to more riches.
