8. I have been hearing this from many sources all week.

The first responders, along with the families who lost a loved one, should be there. Not the politicians who used 9/11 to win an election or make a quick buck. 9/11 has been the golden goose for the repukes since 2001. It brought them everything they wanted, including the war in Iraq that had nothing to do with this terrible tragedy. Will darth, rummy, condi, boosh and ghouliani all be there in their glory? It's enough to make you barf.

11. It's not clear if the first responders who were there that day and/or worked

the pile are involved in this controversy. There were many survivors who helped other people out of the buildings that day, and I don't know if they will be there either. As far as I know, it is a day ceremony meant specifically for family members of those who died, which would include those related to first responders who died.

Part of me says there is a limit to the space and priorities have to be set. Another part says why are we fussing about this and not about the denial of health care to those now suffering from exposure on the pile?
