Texas healthcare system withering under Gov. Perry. Texas just hasn't proven it can run a health
The governor and presidential hopeful has said the state can manage on its own, without President Obama's overhaul. But more than a quarter of Texans lack insurance, the highest rate in the nation.

When Texas went to court last year to block President Obama's healthcare overhaul, Gov. Rick Perry pledged to do everything in his power to "protect our families, taxpayers and medical providers." Texas, he said, could manage its own healthcare.

But in the 11 years the Republican presidential hopeful has been in office, working Texans increasingly have been priced out of private healthcare while the state's safety net has withered, leaving millions of state residents without medical care.

"Texas just hasn't proven it can run a health system," said Dr. C. Bruce Malone III, an orthopedic surgeon and president of the historically conservative Texas Medical Assn.

More than a quarter of Texans lack health insurance, the highest rate in the nation, placing a crushing burden on hospitals and doctors who treat patients unable to pay.

2. BLOVIATOR PERRY is a phony!
Gee in a time when health care is so essential for the success of small business, the health care system that Perry promoted is a failure. So, the great state of TX needs help from the fed for health care services but turns down the money. The great state of TX cut FOREST SERVICES by 1/3 OF ITS budget for two years with drought conditions and raging fires. TX Asks for FED help and gets turned down at first. If you are not willing to go all out to protect your people, why should federal tax payers come to the rescue of irresponsible fiscal mis managers and save their political careers?? And of course, by refusing to make BIG OIL, GAS and business pay their fair share of taxes, the school system is also a FAILURE with a 45% HS graduation rate. I would say that Mr. Perry has some splainin' to do. Perry is a failed leader. He has failed to act in the best interests of the people of TX and yet now this CHARMING SNAKE is on the way to getting the TBAGGER NOMINATION for president. Corporate AMERICA is having a blast, THE WALL STREET HUSTLERS are readying the next scam and GROVER NORQUIST is king, soon to be the new ruler of the TPARTY NATION formerly the US of AMERICA.
