Giuli, America didn't "discount" threats against us, Bush did. He went on vacation when told there was an immediate credible threat, told the guy who went to Crawford to warn him "OK, you've covered your ass now" and proceeded to do nothing. After careful consideration, Giuliani put the emergency response center for New York IN the World Trade Center which had been previously attacked. Who's not prepared? History rewrites are great, but you need a historian, pal.

1. Why would Ghouliani the Klown
have any information about this? He hasn't held public office of any kind in nearly a decade. Just another Repuke pulling things out of his ass.

2. As an update on his current status:
After leaving office as mayor, Giuliani founded Giuliani Partners, a security consulting business;
( IE: making a profit off of 9/11)

acquired Giuliani Capital Advisors (later sold), an investment banking firm;
and joined the Bracewell & Giuliani law firm, which changed its name when he became a partner.

Giuliani is reportedly considering a run in the 2012 presidential election.

see wiki for the above.

Plus he made speaking tours ( paid, of course) on theme of "Leadership", again profiting off 9/11.

My favorite part of his inglorious history is this:
he was reportedly the top choice for Secretary of Homeland Security after Tom Ridge's resignation.
When suggestions were made that Giuliani's confirmation hearings would be marred by details of his past affairs and scandals, he turned down the offer and instead recommended his friend and former New York Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik.
After the formal announcement of Kerik's nomination, information about Kerik's past– most notably, that he had ties to organized crime, had been sued for sexual harassment and had employed an undocumented alien as a domestic servant– became known.

4. Kerik is now doing a fairly lengthy stretch in
the federal pokey right now, IIRC. Great choice, Ghouliani.
