1. For me, the saddest thing were the posters of the missing victims, placed by friends and families.
...with the barest, saddest, minimal glimmer that someone might know something about these poor souls.

2. With The Video... It Was The Girl Listening To Her Friends Complaining About Their Dads...
And how she reacts to that.

:(

3. I'm sorry...
but I adopted my son less than 9 months after 9/11. We treked half way around mother earth to get this boy in April 2002.

He doesn't understand 9/11 right now. And, damn, I'm really happy about that!

I do understand. I will spend some private time reflecting. But, I will not dwell on that. People who died that day would not want that.

Your mileage may vary.

4. Don't Misunderstand Me, Please...
I wasn't going to post ANYTHING about 9/11.

I fear the MSM glorifying the remembrance to the point of becoming 9/11 porn.

Millions of lives changed that day, mainly for the worse. Many never survived that day.

I just got crushed by the girl talking about her friends complaining about their dads, and her wishing to tell them how lucky they were.

I lost my dad at 20... and I understand the sentiment.

5. My son lost his dad at age 3...
All he has is me, his mom.

He's a lucky kid!
