Just returned from the annual town festival and it was depressing.
It's the town where I grew up.

Don't get me wrong. Lots of nice stuff including a play for the kids and stuff for them to bounce on. Tasty food. Community organizations soliciting for donations and volunteers.

And yet . . . there were two distinct booths. One for the Mahwah Tea Party and the other for the John Birch Society.

No republican or democratic clubs. Just the extremists. While I didn't see a crowd of folks chatting at either table, I'm sure there were individuals who took literature to read later.

4. It wont be long before the Westboro Baptist Church starts
satellite chapters and sponsors booths at county fairs throughout the bible belt.

5. The way I see it is that they start small but are persistent. They build
memberships in innocuous settings. They are a threat.

6. The Koch boys should be muzzled and kept on very short leashes.
The way that they spread their droppings around really creates a stench where ever they go.
