Angry Nutjob Attacks Media Matters for Hating Jesus, Eating Twinkies

The dumbest person on CNN (which is really saying something), Erick Erickson, is mad as hell at Media Matters, who he calls "atheists and twinkie eaters" and "the Westboro Baptist D.C. Branch," because they don't love Jesus Christ. Oh, Jesus.

Via the Media Matters blog, the beef with Erickson stems from a ridiculous screed he posted on his website Redstate.com on Tuesday, in which he lamented the lack of Jesus talk in the wake of the Arizona shooting, because everyone needs Jesus:

Through it all though, well meaning people on both sides of the ideological mnd partisan divide are not talking about the one thing that should be talked about — a saving faith in Jesus Christ."

Media Matters kindly pointed out that not everyone in America is a Christian — like Rep. Giffords, who is Jewish — and maybe suggesting that her shooting proves that everyone needs to be saved by Jesus Christ isn't appropriate. This blasphemous assertion set Erickson off:

The atheists and twinkie eaters at Media Matters, also known as the Westboro Baptist D.C. Branch, are enraged that I dared mention Jesus and the absence of discussing him in the debate over Arizona."

Trying to make sense of anything this moron says is a futile endeavor. But we do have one serious question: What does eating Twinkies have to do with hating Jesus? A few commenters have suggested it's an anti-gay slur, which wouldn't be at all surprising.

Said that the Alaska Democrats gave out Sarah Palin's SS# (a fact he pulled wholly from his posterior)

Told his readers to send Olympia Snowe rock salt for her work on HCR. (Rock salt melts snow--get it?)

Suggested that Obama was friends with a child molester

Claimed the left has more dominance in the blogosphere because the right are too busy raising the children they didn't abort.

Its a lot to presume that Christians never commit any acts of violence or do anything wrong, people of faith (any faith) are just as likely to be crazy as people of no faith, and are just as likely to do stupid psychotic things.

Though they will then make the claim that anyone to claims to be christian but acts in a way contrary to the faith is obviously a 'fake christian'. So how to do you tell a real one from a fake one? If they weigh the same as a duck?
