I am deeply touched by this. Maybe because I was too smart to overdose on TV the past two weeks. Maybe because I saw a tower collapse with my own eyes.
I think they did a lovely job so far, focusing on the victims and their families, keeping it small and relatively quiet and non political. I wish people around here could see past their MSM/ Bush hate for a few hours.

23. What I love most about the families naming the dead

is the warmth among the victims and the way in which all races, ethnic groups and religions are involved in the process.

It's very touching - I'm want to hear the name of one of my BIL's cousins.

I don;t believe in heaven, but it touched me. I have heard a few names I knew, no one close... but what an odd assortment neighbors, people I went to high school with, a friends sibling. It brings back the enourmity of it. To see so many grown men break down, so many kids that never knew their parents, it is touching. Im glad they kept it small.
