2. People can say pretty much anything they want to say (and they do)
and other people can call them on it....and they should.

Having the 'right' to say stuff isn't the same as being right (or fair or honest or decent) when you say it.

whatever slings and arrows poor Sarah has had to bear, to compare her sufferings after the shootings to a millennium of suffering because of the blood libel is, at the very least, a demonstration of hubris and unbounded narcissism.

11. Another ill used idiom--Sell me down the river is not a racial slur
Maybe it is in Frums head but otherwise it refers to ratting someone out.
