Well, blow me over with a feather. It wouldn't take much to convince me we are living in the "End Times".

1. Switch careers? To WHAT career?
This whole switch-career/get more training stuff is starting to get old., Only the very young or retired can afford to be doing this every 3 or 4 years. ..and all this retraining stuff costs money too..money that many people cannot afford, so they go even further into debt for a hope that someone will hire them after they have re-trained.

I am debating whether to become a neurosurgeon or nuclear physicist. I am researching which field is more in demand.

8. I'm debating something similar myself...
Wherther to become a neo-surgeon or one of those people who peddle espresso while wearing skimpy outfits. I'm not sure which profession pays more.

3. Not to mention that:

Corporations generally won't hire people over 40 who are mid-stream in a career switch, and switching careers later in life means you have to compete with 20 somethings who are willing to work longer hours for much less.

6. Nope, just do it on your own, they're more than enough republicans with
some loose wires that would opt for a deep discount rate to get patched up!
