Other T-Shirt Colors Malkin hated for the Memorial
Edited on Thu Jan-13-11 11:26 AM by Godhumor
Apparently blue is just too Democrat-y and insulted Malkin's incredibly refined sense of proper decorum. Through means I have no intention of disclosing, I have managed to track down her list of other colors for the T-shirts she would have had trouble with last night:

White: Too peaceful
Black: Too ninja-y
Green: Too environmentalist
Orange: Too poking fun at Boehner
Yellow: Too cowardly
Brown: Too Kenyan
Pink: Too..well, you know
Purple: Too royal
Silver: Too Judas
Red: Too Soviet (Malkin's note: Only implies to those left of center, otherwise perfect color!)

1. I know this is a joke but I think her real issue with the shirt was tackiness
She felt is was tacky and she also, wrongly I might add, thought they were provided by President Obama and not the University (which is who provided the shirts).

I'll admit, the shirts are an odd touch for a memorial service and seemed a little rally-like but I figure the University knows its audience better than anyone else and if they felt shirts were appropriate, then they were. It's not for all of us to understand, what some of us consider strange events last night, it's only for us to accept.

2. Yeah, tacky is a polite way to describe her response, which was Obama politicized the memorial

And, no, she had no clue who gave the T-shirts or why.

I find her so vile, and, frankly, no matter what happened she would have harped on something. Thankfully, she decided to go after something really stupid.

5. It was billed as a "rally". The theme of the rally was appropriate.

6. Can you provide tangible proof it was billed as a rally?
It would be nice to have when cons start clamoring about the wrong "tone" for a memorial service. :)

8. Umm.. because it had a theme "Together we thrive: Tucson and Arizona"
a regular religious memorial doesn't have a theme.

The cheers and applause for all of those who died and were injured and who helped in the aftermath IN ANY WAY, deserved cheers and applause.

there was not ONE THING WRONG with the event last night.

NOT ONE!

9. You give Michele Malkin way too much credit
Are you familiar with her work?

She's most famous for suggesting that John Kerry deliberately shot himself in Viet Nam.

10. I'm not giving her any credit, I'm telling you what I read
She thought the shirts were provided by the Obama team and they were tacky.

12. Sadly, I do.
There was absolutely nothing else she could have criticized last night and she was really reaching for this criticism.

And blue is the Crips' color.
