Former Arizona Rep. Shadegg blames democratic legislation for shooting

"I think you have to examine the entire political culture. I can make an argument that the frustration of this individual resulted from the Congress, quite frankly, not listening to the people over the last two years and, for example, passing very, very major legislation when a majority of Americans opposed it."

1. What an idiot. There's no evidence that Loghner had any kind of political motivation.
Not yet.

5. I heard a "World Have Your Say" segment last year about why some people hate President Obama
Basically, their responses boiled down to: "Well, he (and Congress) MADE me hate him because they're just so....radical." :eyes:

4. He just admitted that political rhetoric could've had an effect. He must not have gotten the memo.

6. Shadegg never met a Democrat he didn't like--because he hasn't met one yet.
I'm in his former district; scarlet is too bluish to describe it.

7. So Shadegg accepts terrorism?
Because that's what terrorism is all about: using violent means to get your way politically.

So frustration at legislation that you don't like means that you can go around murdering people - including a CHILD?

This may not in fact be why Loughner committed the murders. But that a Congressman would SAY that - it just makes me sick.

8. Well
The only americans who were against EVERYTHING the democrats passed were the crazies on the right, the teabaggers, who were funded by money from right wing billionaires who used them to try and make it look like a "grassroots" uprising by the american people. They used radio and TV hate mongers to spread lies and work up the elderly and gullible to add to the mess! So it wasn't the majority of americans who are against "everything" passed, it was a group of rich americans trying to destroy anything good that might come from this administration!
