That could make for some uneasy sleeping. And this has been crossing their minds now since Thursday already.

Sounds like something that could tend to wear on ya after a while, doesn't it?

2. That is not how it works. Anything bad that happens is 'Them liberals' fault, anything good that..
happens is because of moral republicans. Facts be damned.

3. They despise Louisville with the heat of a thousand white hot suns, Don.
This district is fairly blue. We sent Yarmuth back who ran on raising taxes on the wealthy, health care reform, the stimulus, and civil rights. We also elected another Democratic Mayor and leaned heavily for Conway.

Some of them won't even come up for the state fair or for UK versus UofL games. Our local pukes (and Democrats in many cases) are corporatist/greed heads and generally are pro commerce which is difficult under the circumstances.

I'm sure there is a health helping of teabaggers but I wouldn't call this "one of their districts" at all. They'd expel us from the state given the chance despite doing such would make most of the state 3rd world and desperately broke.

4. I've been wondering a lot about this lately. The public water systems in the suburbs not far from
where I live are starting to have repeated failures. Schools and businesses closed. Sort of like a third world country where you never know when or how long the water or electricity will be on. These days people check the local paper's website for the current "Boil Water Advisory."

This is in Chester County PA, which lot long ago was among the most "prosperous" counties in the country. Not sure where it stands now, but is obviously slipping fast.

I keep wondering what the local suburbanites think about infrastructure spending and how much it is or isn't worth.
