Can the GOP be construed as "Economic Terrorists"?
Edited on Wed Sep-14-11 11:06 AM by devilgrrl
Based on their scare tactics involving their trickle down/if we raise taxes on the wealthy they won't create jobs/we can't afford Universal Health Care because we got the country into two wars - not to fight "terrorists" but to secure natural resources/Drilling=Jobs/government doesn't create jobs but managed to built the roads and bridges nationwide throughout the 20th century, etc...

They always seem to back the country into a corner. How is that not terroristic in some form or another?

You tell me.

1. I hesitate to use the word "terrorist" out of respect for victims of real terrorism
but threatening to allow the country to default on its debt (costing us our AAA rating) showed a similar mindset to that of suicide bombers.

2. That's what they are. And it's working--same as violent terrorism worked on us.

People will be grateful to find a job that pays $8 an hour, in coming years.

3. They are, in fact, terrorists.
They are going to hold the country hostage. They are so blind with hate, so determined to have their way, that they will sacrifice even their own supporters.

4. I agree. They are derelict in their duty to collect compulsory tax revenue without favor, and

they have borrowed money instead causing us more debt from the
interest. I bet they are also shareholders of the Federal
Reserve Bank who earn 6% dividends on our 44% of our deficit
annually. Also, allowing undeclared wars to rape our treasury
and ignore the people's expenditures, talking as if our
country does not have the ways and means to balance our budget
without cuts to services when all is needed is to raise
revenue, which is their job. They have at their disposal the
ability to place liens on property and bank accounts of those
who refuse to pay tax, and they kiss ass instead. I say they
are treasonous in their conflict of interest and their refusal
to keep the oath they made about taking care of the country
and its people. We have been solidly duped, and I suppose the
Democrats went along because of the shares of cash they
enjoyed by joining the Heritage House and making pledges which
is also in conflict of interest. There are no laws that allow
the kind of lobbying and payment for votes in our constitution
but they have removed or defunded any regulatory functions
that would be in place to stop them. That is also treason.

Ahd it is terrorizing our poor, our elderly, our helpless, our
out of work population and as a result, out children. They
have enabled a class system of workers who are threatened into
silence about unions, rights and privileges. And they have
supported fraudulent voting measures that have usurp the
credibility of our votes. We have found ourselves, and our
president, under a severe takeover of our rule of law, our
constitution, and our regulatory powers, and even our justice
system.

We should bring back our armies and walk these people out of
our government buildings and into jails and give their
salaries and benefits to people who will do that job and bring
us prosperity and honor. Removing the cap on FICA so that all
people pay 7.65 cents on the dollar will fix Social Security
once and for all. Billing tax revenue for profitable
companies at the rate of 25 cents on what is left after they
have paid what is due, is not unreasonable to live in a land
with so much freedom and sophistication.

If tried for treason, and found guilty they should be lined up
and shot to make sure no other people try to manipulate our
ability to raise revenue and fund and staff our regulatory
offices and pay the people's bills again. How else can we
stop the corruption?

5. Most definitions of a terrorism
fall under using the means to harm a civilian population to further a political or ideological goal.

6. They're intentionally destroying the economy solely to beat Obama
Isn't that harmful to a civilian population to further their agenda?

7. Yes.. we must act fast to frame these egotist, psychotic men and women as they are, so that we can
safely remove them from power. They are not doing their job.
They have no allegiance to us, to our principles, our
constitution nor to the people.
