1. In 2000 and 2004 Tweety was wavering GOP more often than not. I guess there's a point
even Tweety won't sink to.

These teabaggers are driving people away in disgust.

10. I remember how pro-Kerry he was. It was on his show that a priest gave the wisest
& most enlightening talk directed toward those Catholics who were voting simply on the abortion issue. The overall point was that in government matters, there are more important issues regarding humanity that should trump the abortion issue.

That's just one example, but I remember being happy with Chris Matthews during the 2004 campaign.

Tomorrow will be different.

Corporartist in my opinion. all for ratings. Driven by the wind like fresh snow.

Good on him. He will say something different tomorrow though.

12. I was at the 2004 RNC convention in NYC where he was broadcasting live in Herald Square
Tweety ignored us and our chanting and screaming against Shrub for most of the night, until it got so loud, he finally looked at Andrea Mitchell and laughed.

The thing about Tweety is he does nothing with anyone nearby, and his techs do not speak to him, until he's on camera. Then. he perks right up like it's christmas morning.

Off camera, he ignores everyone completely. He's a camera whore. I saw no evidence of any humanity in him off camera.

6. Was a very good rant
but why was Tweety almost apologizing for Bernie Sanders correct views on the mess.

8. Yes, that was really obnoxious.
He made the same point, not just once, but three different times of how he ordinarily had no use for "old 60's guy" Bernie (his words) who is too much on his left, except under these times and circumstances regarding poverty and the economy. "Wished he didn't have to hear from him".

Bernie could do him a big favor and not bother returning for the patronizing bullcrap any time soon.

7. The 1973 movie was actually called 'Battle For the Planet of the Apes'
It was the last installment of the original five and IMO, the worst of them too. Maybe it was the worst of all seven, though I never saw the Tim Burton/Marky Mark installment (it looked pretty bad).
