We’re Not Stupid – The Jobs Bill Switcheroo Won’t Do!
“NO!” IT ALL Tea Partied Republican Congressional House Representatives and Senators have SUNK to their all time favorite “change the subject” switcheroo to fight President Obama’s Jobs Plan in favor of DUMPING the jobless and handing over a FAT PAY RAISE to oil interests, big corporations, lobbyists, and the wealthy! All of a sudden the issue of job creation has changed to Tea Partied “less regulation and spending” issues. Sound familiar? Remember when “affordable health care for all” became Tea Partied “death panels” and when raising the debt ceiling by EVERY OTHER PRESIDENT IN HISTORY didn’t become a Tea Partied “Constitutional amendment” issue until President Obama requested it?

The Tea Partied Republican “less regulation/spending” switcheroo is an INSULT TO OUR INTELLIGENCE! During the Bush era, the REPUBLICAN Congressional majority rushed full speed ahead to catapult us into the jobless, economic depressed state we’re in now giving big corporations the DEREGULATED NOD to send jobs overseas, the DEREGULATED NOD to not pay taxes on corporate profits, and the DEREGULATED NOD to shower mortgage schemes on consumers they knew couldn’t’ foot the bill. When President Obama pushed for corporate regulations, it created triple the number of jobs in 2 years than were created during the 8 DEREGULATED years of REPUBLICAN Congressional domination.

During the Bush era, the REPUBLICAN Congressional majority legislated UNFUNDED tax cuts for the wealthy, UNFUNDED spending for the Iraq Invasion, UNFUNDED prescription drug legislation, DIDN’T investigate billions of unaccounted expenditures by Halliburton, and managed to push us towards the brink of a total economic depression during their CARE FREE squandering of President Clinton’s surplus in the trillions!

Tea Partied Republicans THINK we’re stupid. They THINK they can get away with NOT listening to us, NOT caring about us, and TURNING A BLIND EYE on the jobless constituents, small businesses, crumbling bridges, roads, dams and public schools in their districts WITHOUT any political consequences. They THINK that we don’t know that they are the ONLY branch of government with the Constitutional authority to pass job creation into law - not President Obama!

We need to present a STRONGER, LOUDER and LONGER “Pass the Job Bill now!” message. Tweet, Face Book, YouTube and continue to call, email and write letters to Tea Partied Republican House Representatives and Senators EVERY DAY until the jobs bill is passed at www.congress.gov www.house.gov www.senate.gov .

President Obama isn’t backing down and neither should we! Let them know that in 2012, WE can do the switcheroo too!
