August 30

September 13 This is after the opening of 43 of the 50 flood gates of the Conowingo Dam on the Susquehanna River. This is the most gates they've opened since 1972's Hurricane Agnes.

That muddy flow from the dam has begun to kill the crab harvest as the crabs are covered in the hundreds of thousands of tons of mud that was released. That says nothing of the longer term impact of all manner of dangerous material in the effluent.
Then there's the floating debris. This mess, just south of the mouth of Baltimore Harbor, and looking south toward the Bay Bridge, is typical of the many square miles of similar debris that is all across the Bay. There are entire trees and logs big enough to break up a typical crab boat or pleasure craft. Night time navigation is virtually impossible. The debris is clogging vessels' water intakes. This has been devastating to all marine interests on the Bay.

The citrus mambo was the wankie wanker. Ledo's was the give-away.
