4. I was just kind of thinking of an overview, I hear various shit all the time and I want to have the
facts to debunk it.

5. Kick and Reccomend
I'm interested as well. There's a few good facts and figures I know, but I would like to see something along the line of a snopes to counter the steady anti-labor drumbeat of the press and media.

Sometimes spouters of anti-labor rhetoric don't know facts themselves though. Had some fun about 2 years ago arguing on an online forum with some jerk. He offered Southwest Airlines as a great example of a well run profitable company because they don't have unions. I knew this to be false, but just how false surprised even me. 86 percent employee unionization. He told me BS, and I told him if he could find out differently I'd be glad to read the evidence. He didn't post on that forum for a month!

6. History is a good place to start. Do anti-unionists hate the 40-hr week? Child-labor laws? OSHA?

What, exactly, needs "debunking"?
That unions and management enter into COLLECTIVE BARGAINING, not one-sided deals?
That MGMNT makes the decisions for the company's fortunes and future?
That some people are corrupted by money, no matter what job, labor or mgmnt, they have?

There are plenty of books.

7. Progressive States Network writes good pro-labor stuff
You can sign up to get their twice weekly email updates which are great. Here's an article about anti-labor efforts from their latest issue: http://progressivestates.org/node/26220

I like the state focus of this site because IMHO that's where the most damage is done to workers rights.
