Did Obama fill Attorney General post? What's the holder upper?
Are the republicans blocking his pick? Or did we eliminate the position to save money on account of the global economic catastrophe caused by Wall Street crime, and all that?

Even Barney Fife and Deputy Dog would have been able to put these crooks behind bars.

Well, given that Obama said this:

"It is time to put in place tough, new common-sense rules of the road so that our financial market rewards drive and innovation, and punishes short-cuts and abuse. Feb. 24, 2009"

The only explanation is that the far right wing is interfering with justice. Again.

Poor Obama, just an insensible liberal. He obviously doesn't understand the pragmatic new reality.

Anyway, do you think he'll nominate someone to fill the Justice Dept. position before 2012?

Or, is the department being eliminated as part of the bi-partisan agreement to privatize social security?

Darn Republican Justice Department obstructionists, they make me sooooo mad!!!

5. Wall Street crime that devastated world economies going unpunished
while those protesting Wall Street crime are being thrown in jail.

Meanwhile, there has been nothing heard anything from justice department in nearly 3 years about prosecution and convictions for corporate fraud.

With run-away corporate crime, it can only be explained by right wing obstructionism preventing the appointment of an Attorney General. Because we all know democrats are the political party for justice on-behalf of working people and only republicans worship and protect Wall Street. Or am I wrong?

Now the irony is, we do have genital inspections in airports, so someone must be in charge.

3. I assume that the OP is trying to suggest
that Holder is as good as no AG at all.

Hmmm - Holder, I think I saw his picture as missing person on a milk carton - if you see him
dial 1-800-IMA-LOST and report last known location.

Maybe we should put a GPS collar around him. His whereabouts remain mysterious.

7. We don't seem to have an AG, yet. I'm assuming it's because of republicans
blocking the appointment to protect Wall Street criminals, torturers, oil spill polluters, etc.

As noted above...

Meanwhile those protesting Wall Street crime are being thrown in jail.

However, there has been nothing heard anything from justice department in nearly 3 years about prosecution and convictions for corporate fraud.

With run-away corporate crime, this can only be explained by right wing obstructionism preventing the appointment of an Attorney General.
