I hereby challenge Rep. Fleming (R-LA) to switch places with me for a month. I will try to scrape by on his $33,000 while he luxuriates in my $752 social security check.

1. Thought of this a few times.

Anytime these fuckers say 'pull themselves up by their bootstraps', I want to publicly challenge them to live for ONE YEAR with none of their assets and two part-time jobs at Wal-Mart and McDonald's.

These are weaklings who look down on people whose feet they are not worthy to lick. They need to find out what real struggle is like. It should be a requirement for every single person who aspires to public service to have spent not one day less than a year in real poverty.
