18. Back during Watergate, there was a show on PBS called the

Advocates. They discussed a topic in a panel sort of way with half of the greatest political people of the past fourty years. It was awesome. One side defended Nixon and the other side didn't. The lawyers on the senate committee were part of it. AWESOME SHOW! Dukakis moderated it. Never missed it. My whole family and I.

Nicest people you could ever meet. They were gracious, well-mannered, and sweet. Prof.Dukakis gave a fascinating speech, and I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and intelligence.

12. Green Line - D Branch

I would often see the Governor heading home to Brookline when I worked in downtown Boston. He was known for riding that particular trolley. Small man, unassuming, but always eager to participate in a good political discussion. Made that part of the commute we shared pleasurable and enlightening.
