Sadly, the Georgia Board of Pardons and Parole refused to grant clemency for Troy Davis and he is scheduled to be executed today. There are still four things we can do that might make a difference:


1. Fax or call the Georgia Board of Pardons and Parole demanding that reconsider its decision and grant Troy clemency. Phone: 404:656-0693 or 404-656-5651 Fax: [phone]
2. Fax or Call Chatham County District Attorney Larry Chisolm and ask him to urge the local judge to vacate the death warrant. Phone: [phone] Fax: [phone]
3. Call the local judge Penny Haas Freeseman at 912-652-7252 and ask her to vacate the death warrant.
4. Call the Governor, Nathan Deal at 404-656-1776 and ask him to use his influence to encourage the board to grant Troy Davis clemency.


We must ensure that those who hold Troy Davis’ life in their hands continue to hear the voices of his supporters for as long as we can keep up the efforts.
