If Nader had said that there's no difference between Christians and Muslims ...
what do you imagine would have been the outcome?

2. Is there a difference? I mean beyond how they worship?
There are those in both faiths who pervert the teachings...there are those in both faiths who practice the best of the teachings.

3. Well, just like Republicans and Democrats,
When you get right down to the nitty-gritty, there's really very little difference between them.

After all, the Abrahamic religions are quite close to each other in most respects.

5. Umm, study your religions please
Judaism, Christianity and Islam all go back to the same root, Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael. Other than the debate about Jesus Christ, one saying he isn't valid, one believing him the son of God, and one believing that Christ was a prophet, their belief system is pretty similar. Hell, even the root ethnicity is the same for each religion, the Semitic people.

7. Nice dodge. Republicans and Democrats are not even close to the same.
And you know it.

9. Alright then, umm, you need to study your politics more closely
Hell, just look at Obama's latest stimulus package. He said so himself, chock full of great Republican ideas. Meanwhile, over on the judicial side, Obama's appointees just joined in with the rest in condemning an innocent man to death.

I could go on all night about this, but you already know that, somewhere deep down in your heart you know that you, me, and everybody else in this country is being played by the two party/same corporate master system of government we're currently living under. But the hour is getting late, and I've got to get up in the morning.

Besides, I was really hoping to get into a nice theological debate for a change.

11. Look up the phrase "painting with a broad brush".
Your supposition isn't even accurate in the abstract, much less in the real world.

But Nader would be proud that you bought his line.

10. The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) lived long after the Council of Nicea of 325 A.D.
Can you tell me anything about Islam predating The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)? Does Mormonism, in your opinion, go back to the same root: Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael?

13. True, but Muhammad didn't live in a vacumn,
And his tenants weren't created in one either. Most established religious scholars recognize this. In fact, one could say that both Christianity and Islam were splinter sects off of the original Judaic religion, just as Mormonism is a splinter sect off of Christianity, and Shia is a sect off of Islam.

Yes, Mormonism, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, all go back to the same root in Abraham. This is their belief:shrug:

16. Probably not, as it is traditionally believed that Muhammad was illiterate,
But the fact is, most people in the region and time were illiterate, so these were passed on orally.

8. There is a vast chasm between Republicans and Democrats. They are not the same.
To say that spits in the face of all those who suffer at the hands of the GOP.

14. Is that also true in the Senate? If so, when did that "vast chasm" happen?

I thought there were so-called Democratic centrists and blue dogs in Congress.

17. Those Centrists are miles away from even moderate Republicans.
But don't let me force you into a more complex form of thought process than you are used to.

Simple works well for smears.
