5. I have always been anti DP. But after reading "The Innocent Man" by

John Grisham...it made me really understand how the system can go wrong.

6. I thought that exact thing about...

...the poor guy in Texas who Rick Perry gladly murdered.

IIRC, his house had caught fire, he fled the house, but returned to try to save his children.

He was seriously burned, the children died, he was accused of setting the fire and murdering his children.

He was executed, despite the fact that the arson investigation concluded that arson was not the cause of the fire.

So this guy got seriously injured, lost his children in a horrific way, then was jailed and executed for something he did not do.

RIP to all wrongfully murdered by The "infallible" State.

7. Worse? Pushing the needle.

An innocent man may or may not be put to death, but you're the one that gets to live with killing him. The instrument of revenge, wrongful or otherwise. Live with that.

and i can't imagine anyone with a true conscience accepting the job
